I practically lived here when I was using (opiates and meth), back when "The Highway (Pacific Highway S." was my stopping grounds in 2021 which was during the time they put up the electric gate. I've stayed in several different rooms and never experienced any bed bugs or saw any roaches but that doesn't necessarily mean they're not their. I'm proudly going on 3 years clean in May and have zero desire to go back. As far as the rooms, they're decent but I recommend choosing a different location if the thought of being around the drug scene scares you or if you have kids especially teens who are young and impressionable because it's easy to get mixed up with the wrong people and addiction often finds you when you're younger. Rooms are cheap, but I honestly would look elsewhere, the highways is full of options and they're all in the same area. But I will say that they did start remodeling the rooms but I'm not sure how far a long they got. It's owned and run by a East Indian family, who seem mean but they're just trying to run a business
Great rates, will go out of their way to accommodate you with the money you have, but you must pay the rest expeditiously. Rooms are clean with adequate towels and toiletries. Make the Sunset Motel your stay when you're in Seattle.
The best since 2018 that I been staying when I come from Arizona every trip it gets better now it's all gated and quiet and affordable for a great place I love this motel . Workers are awesome
Me and my family were desperately looking for a room late at night. Making reservations online was not easy especially since we were tired. We started driving and finally after stopping at several places we drove upto the Sunset Motel. It was very affordable and it had a full kitchen that made it feel like home away from home. Check in only took about 8 minutes. The gentleman at the desk Drew was wonderful and very helpful. Also the name Sunset Motel agrees with this place because it faces Westward and has a beautiful view that you wouldn't expect within city limits. I look forward to going back someday.

Service Great from Becca she works front desk and does house cleaning. The owner is horrible here she hides while she sends employees to do her kicking people out, telling visitors of guests to leave or the guest will b kicked out. She will keep ur deposite if u have guests that go check on with ID first at office..
Best motel in Kent area! Cheapest + THE CLEANEST! I will always choose this place 2 return to! Seriously! ALL the other motels are philthy and have her bugs! This place was very very clean and nice! Staff are super sweet! I loved this place! I didn't want to leave. Its literally like 5 steps away from the metro bus stop. There's a fred Meyer's store literally across the street and teen mobile and other lil stores! It was absolutely perfect! Love love love this place. You guys have a gained a true loyal customer. I know I'll be staying there again REAL soon!
This motel is more of a extended stay there are people living her long term including the employees. It may not look beautiful but it comfortable. Everyone is nice but stay to themselves since the manager does not allow visitors. This is because she don't want her motel a drug spot. The owner/manager which are mother and son are very respectful and try and work with you they are very kind hearted you can tell but also have been taken advantage of so strict at the same time. Wonderful place to stay long term if needed!
I have been here over a month and have no bad experiences. Staff are friendly and Becca is great. I feel safe being a single woman and if there are any riff raff hanging out they are quickly asked to leave. Great place for a long stay. Best i have been in .
Everyone has their own opinion...me personally I've been here on and off for a while ....I have never had a problem the rooms are clean I've never seen a bug I have a nice car and it has never been damaged and I've fallen asleep with the windows down all night and no problem...the owner is amazing very understanding and patient...the ones who left bad reviews you must have pissed them off and got kicked out because the things you're saying aren't true... It's great and affordable
